Alex is also contracted with Douglas College in Vancouver, BC running a very successful program that offers self-employment training. His team assists entrepreneurs in the development of business plans, provide intensive business training seminars, while also providing ongoing mentoring to their clients. The Self-Employment Program has had over 3100 clients in a 15 year time span with a 94% success ration in the first year of operations. Alex is recognized as a sales and marketing expert who is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business as well as overseeing the daily operations.

During his educational career, Alex earned a Diploma in Financial Management from George Brown College. He is also certified in Business Administration. In the time away from his busy schedule, Alex greatly enjoys watching ice hockey and walking.
