Hunt A Book is a retail book store which offers customers a wide variety of books and also stocks other items such as toys and gifts. Mr. Milgate is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business as well as overseeing the daily operations. He also oversees the finances of the store and is in charge of ordering the inventory.

During his educational career, he earned his teaching credentials from the University of Newcastle. Ian taught Geography for 25 years prior to opening Hunt A Book. In the time away from his busy schedule, he greatly enjoys photography.
